Producer Highlight | Faber Pacheco
A bright, structured expression from Cauca, Colombia.
This microlot comes from Faber Pacheco, a second-generation producer whose work is deeply rooted in family tradition. Coffee culture has been part of his family for generations, passed down from his great-grandparents, and remains central to how he and his family approach their land and work today.
Faber has spent the last 15 years working alongside his father gradually planting and developing exotic varietals, alongside continued experimentation with processing innovation.
His goal is to build a fully self-sustaining farm, while actively developing a reforestation plan aimed at restoring biodiversity and creating a thriving ecosystem that could one day welcome birdwatchers to the farm.

Beyond production, Faber is also actively involved in the broader coffee community as a barista, roasting and processing instructor, where he helps guide and mentor the next generation of producers.
The farm itself sits at 1790 masl in Cauca and is highly diversified, with shade-grown systems including guamo, cedar, laurel, acacia, guadua, and more. Alongside coffee, the farm produces a wide range of crops including avocado, papaya, tangerine, plantain, sugar cane, yucca, and beans. This creates a resilient and integrated agricultural ecosystem.
