A deep and watchful cup
All Night Vigil
All Night Vigil continues as a steady offering within the Death to the World project—now carried through The Long Bridge. It is a darker expression, built with intention: full, grounded, and without distraction.
Composed of washed coffees from smallholder farms in Colombia and Honduras, this blend is developed further in the roast to bring forward depth and sweetness without harshness. What emerges is a cup that is weighty yet composed—familiar in form, but refined in character.
Geronda Joseph would bless a cup of coffee to keep the all-night vigil and St. Paisios recommended the same.
So, in the spirit of these spiritual giants of these last times, we wanted to offer the same quality for your cup.
The Cup
At its hottest, the cup presents dark chocolate with a full body. As it cools, molasses-like sweetness emerges, followed by a soft almond character reminiscent of marzipan. The finish is smooth, with a restrained bitterness that gives structure without overwhelming the cup.
The Artwork
The artwork on this bag was designed by Father John from Death to the World. Drawing from Byzantine Christian visual language, it reflects the stillness, endurance, and quiet discipline embodied in the name All Night Vigil.

FAQs
What is your roasting and production schedule?
We roast to order every Wednesday, processing all orders placed before 9:00 AM PST that day. Once roasted, orders are packed and shipped by the end of Thursday.
Retail orders placed after the Wednesday morning cutoff are usually roasted the following week. However, we often roast extra to cushion in your regular orders, so if your coffee is available, it may still ship in the week!
Grinding Schedule: All ground coffee is ground to order just before shipping, so you can be assured your coffee has arrived as fresh as possible.
